Lately, I wish I could be in two places at once. A wild Luau with new friends or a 35th birthday for a long-time friend? An art tour by bike or bay sailing with pals?
Hibiscus, that bright often-red flower, seems like a magical solution. G found dried flowers at the market and whipped up a hibiscus flower syrup to dribble into our pre-event drinks to help spirit us everywhere at once.
So far … it hasn’t worked. But the color and sour-sweet taste the hibiscus lends to everything from green tea to Hibiscus Potion cocktails is nothing short of magical.
